Bamboo Baby Star Jumper Review

I have known Bamboo Baby for some time now and had a number of their pieces of clothing - infact on Christmas Day 2012, Harry was wearing one of their shirts and jumpers. It is no secret that I have been impressed with their quality. Recently I saw the Bamboo Baby team at Bubble London and happened to mention that I loved their new 'star' jumper. A few weeks later one arrived through the post for me and although it was not requested, I have decided to write a review of it.

Bamboo Baby produce 'bamboo and organic clothing for eco kids'. Now - I am not a great expert about eco-clothing but what I do know is that this jumper is immensely soft. To fond out what makes bamboo clothing brilliant - take a look here. I love the idea of eco clothing as long as in reality it meets or exceeds my expectations. And this jumper does.

Harry has worn it a number of times since it arrived on my doorstep - and I love it. It's traditional navy and white stripes make it a classic in my opinion. The green star gives it an 'edge' over a plain stripy jumper. I love the fact that the neckline has a couple of buttons as it means that I can get it over Harry's head with ease. My children do not have overly large heads but at times jumpers can be a bit of a squeeze over their ears!!! With buttons, this problem is alleviated.

So - it's pretty clear that I like this jumper - Harry has it in size 3-4 years and it fits him perfectly. I don't think that Bamboo Baby are over generous with their sizing as Harry is in general only just a size 3-4. Being made of bamboo, it has been ideal over the last few weeks with summer arriving (shhhh - trying not to jinx it!). It has been ideal when the evenings turn a little cooler but not cool enough to warrant a sweatshirt

Summary

I really like this jumper - it's classic style won't date and it is well made. At £25 it's not the cheapest jumper on the market but given it's quality I think that it's good value for money. I would not hesitate in recommending that other people purchase this item of clothing.

Disclosure - I was given this jumper free of charge, not to review but I have decided to write about it anyway. All thoughts and opinions are my own and are not influenced in any way.
