The Canvas Cloud - review.

A couple of weeks ago I was approached by Word Art company, 'The Canvas Cloud' to review one of their products - and I worked closely with them to create something which 'fitted' with me and my family.

The process was very simple - I simply sent them some ideas for our family rules (they do have some templates do don't worry if you are not particularly creative). It was simple - and by simple, I mean really simple. I then had to chose a background colour - at the moment they are offering a choice of  red, teal, grey black or white. I requested whether they were able to do a darker grey / blue as I felt that fitted well with our kitchen where I wanted to display it. I sent them a colour swatch and they were happy to help out. I think this is a brilliant service - and this resulted in a piece which I know will be displayed for a long time in the future.

My canvas arrived beautifully packaged - wrapped in bubble wrap and covered in brown paper. It was securely sealed but I liked the touch of the string around the parcel. It also had a small tag which as made of canvas and read 'Thanks a lot - from the Canvas Cloud'. On opening I was pleased to see corner protectors!

I opened the parcel and was, I have to be honest, amazed at the quality of this canvas which retails for just £30. The finish is excellent. A number of years ago, I used to own a photography business and therefore dealt with canvas' on a regular basis - the quality of finish from one company to the next can vary a lot. The Canvas Cloud have got it just right - reasonable prices and excellent quality.

Summary

Our Canvas Cloud word art is proudly displayed on our kitchen wall - and we LOVE it! Lots of visitors have commented on it and it has created some interesting conversations between us and our children - why we now have some 'family rules' and what we can hope to achieve. The boys' favourite rule is 'be awesome' and my parents love the 'Always do as your parents say' rule! I would definitely  have no qualms about recommending this product to others - and with Christmas coming along, I suggest you go and check it out for yourself!
